We just had a wonderful family outing to Bukit Tinggi, Pahang on the recent Hari Raya long holidays. Alice has had a great times.
Since that we had long holidays during the week, and Alice never really had any vacation before, we decided to bring Alice to Bukit Tinggi for a family escapade. The reasons we chose Bukit Tinggi are that it is less crowded, compared to Genting Highland and also Alice will has a chance to experience the wilderness of nature. So more, it is Mummy’s birthday, we can celebrate it in a special way.
We always had this worry that whether little Alice can accustomed herself to stay overnight in an alien environment, as she never done that before, arrangements were made to make her felt much at home. Well, in the end, our girl did not disappoint us.
Colmar Tropicale is still as charming as before, just that the foods and beverages that are rather expensive. Alice was fascinated by all those new things surrounding her. The ambience of a French-themed town square sure is as new experience to her. She was so enthusiastic to try out every new thing, including the stairway of our bedroom suite. In the afternoon of the day we arrived, we walked around the town square and then proceed to the Japanese Tea Garden and the Botanical Garden. We were surrounded by lush green of various plants and trees, and Alice were busy plucking every leaf that she could reach off. During the night, Mummy and Alice had a nice slice of Tiramisu, Mummy’s birthday present.
The next morning, we went for the Breakfast Buffet, I think should be Alice first buffet; she did really enjoy herself on the breads and cookies. We managed to see the swans, actually a pair of white swan and a pair of black swan. Alice seems to be more interested in the white swans. She seems to complaining that the swans did not come in front of her, despite she tried so hard to yell at them. Then we went to the Rabbit Farm, for the first time in her life she had come so close to so many cute little bunnies. Guess what, after this trip, she managed to shed off her fear on her rabbit fluffy soft toy at home. It just had shown how important it is for children to get in touch with the real natural objects.
All in all, we had a really nice and memorable holiday.
